Parents are most welcome in our school at all times as we believe they provide us with a rich source of knowledge, ideas, creativity and specific skills. We encourage parental support and involvement in our school programs.

The students’ educational development is enriched by active participation of parents and families. We invite families to be active in their involvement through:

• Classroom helpers are greatly valued by teachers and students at St Margaret Mary’s Primary School. Classroom helpers support the learning environment by ensuring a high level of engagement in classroom activities.

To ensure the safety, wellbeing and protection of all students, St Margaret Mary’s Primary School maintains a comprehensive process for screening, authorising, instructing and working with volunteers which is outlined in the STMM Volunteer Procedure.

All parent volunteers must provide a copy of a current Working With Children Check Card (WWCC).
