The Sacramental Program is an important part of the Religious Education Program within the school. It is through the sacraments that we develop our relationship with God.  Sacraments are important celebrations in our faith journey and are at the heart of our Catholic tradition.

Our Sacramental program is school based and we work closely with the parish to continue to strengthen the link between school and parish life.

Our Sacramental program involves;

  • Reconciliation (Sacrament of Penance) in Year 3
  • First Eucharist (First Communion) in Year 4
  • Confirmation every second year in Year 5 and 6

The whole school community attends special celebrations and liturgies such as feast days, Easter and Christmas and other days that feature on the Church Calendar. Level masses occur on a regular basis. There are opportunities for the Year Four to Six children to receive the Sacrament of Penance during the year. At the conclusion of each school term we gather to worship, give thanks and look forward to another term of learning.  The new Prep students and their families are welcome to join the school community at the end of year liturgy and annual Christmas Carols.
